My love of horses began when I was in third grade and my mom signed me up for horseback riding lessons. I quickly fell in love with horses, and my first horse, Shady, quickly became my best friend. Several horses have touched my life since Shady, but the joy I felt the first time I galloped through a field or soared over a jump has never changed. These  pictures are for all horse lovers, whether you've had a special horse, or dreamed of a special horse, may you continue to experience the joy they bring. 

My family has had many special dogs in our lives, from pure breeds to mutts. Each was a member of the family and each had a unique personality.

I've always enjoyed the beauty of the outdoors, whether a hike, fishing on a creek, or a walk on the beach.
